61 Railway Street, Cooks Hill

RESIDENTIAL

There was a two weeks worth of prep before we even started applying paint on this one. All holes, cracks, gaps where filled with Soudal exterior flexible waterproof fillers. All Bare surface where primed before applying two top coats of  Dulux weathershield on all painted surfaces (trims, post, downpipes went in Colorbond Woodland Grey ) walls were Colorbond Tranquil Retreat . All timber work was sanded using the Mirka deros 5.0 dustless sander and coating with sikkens Cetol blx-pro. Steel work was primed with NoraGlass no Rust all surface primer and top coated in Colorbond Woodland Grey .. Iquip had us covered on this one with tape & paper. Garage door was sanded and primed with Dulux PRECISION Maximum Strength Adhesion Primer and two top coats of Colorbond Woodland Grey

The top of the house was Colorbond and was prepped- all rust spots were wire wheeled off , removing corded rust. Bare galv surfaces were primed with Dulux metalshield galv zinc and other areas were Dulux Metalshield etched primed. Two top coats were applied to match walls in Colorbond Tranquil Retreat. Soffits were coated in Dulux Lexicon Quarter with gutters in Colorbond Woodland Grey.

The clients did not notice how pink the walls looked until the house had been painted. Super happy on the new colours picked and chosen by Painting by Josh. If you have a house or project similar to this, please feel free to get in touch – painting Newcastle and surrounds!
