7 Hyndes Street West Wallsend

RESIDENTIAL

This was an old Nun’s head convent on Hyndes Street, West Wallsend (Newcastle) that was asked to be repainted and restored to its heritage colours from the early 1900s.

This roof was very powdery and in need of a good high pressure clean. A Dulux Acratex Primer was then applied for maximum adhesion.

The next step was to measure out and tape up all the cream sections that needed to be painted. Two top coats of Dulux Acratex Roof Membrane was applied. The next process was to mask over all the finished heritage Cream sections to apply two coats of Heritage Indian Red. Then to unmask all the masked cream areas to reveal the finished product.

We love heritage and restoration work – I feel pride restoring homes to their former glory. If you have a house or project similar to this, please feel free to get in touch – painting Newcastle and surrounds!
